Terms
The simple terms that guide travel planning with Viator.

Section 01
An enquiry is a request for information and does not confirm a reservation. A booking with Viatour Travel is confirmed only after we send written confirmation and receive any deposit stated in your proposal.
The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for providing accurate information for everyone included in the reservation.
Your proposal will show the deposit, payment schedule, currency, and accepted payment methods. Please pay only through the secure payment instructions supplied by Viatour Travel.
Any bank, card, or transfer charge that applies will be disclosed before payment. A booking may be released if an agreed payment is not received by its due date.
Website prices are starting or guide prices unless clearly described as final. Your confirmed price depends on travel dates, party size, accommodation, transport availability, and the services included in your itinerary.
Your written proposal will identify what is included and excluded. Personal expenses, international flights, visas, insurance, and optional activities are excluded unless expressly listed.
Travellers are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, permits, and any other documents required for their journey. Entry rules differ by nationality and can change without notice.
Viatour Travel may provide general guidance, but travellers should verify current requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official authority before departure.
Please tell us before confirmation about mobility needs, medical conditions, dietary requirements, or other assistance that may affect the arrangements. We will make reasonable efforts to suggest suitable services but cannot provide medical advice.
Travellers are responsible for obtaining professional health advice, carrying required medication, and assessing whether the itinerary is suitable for them.
Accommodation categories and room arrangements are subject to availability. Where a named property becomes unavailable, we may propose a reasonable alternative of a comparable standard.
Special requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing and may involve an additional charge.
Section 02
Tell us as soon as possible if you want to change names, dates, accommodation, or itinerary services. We will confirm whether the change is possible and advise you of any supplier fee or price difference before proceeding.
Airline and other supplier tickets may be non-changeable or non-refundable once issued.
Cancellation requests must be sent to Viatour Travel in writing. The amount refundable will depend on when we receive the request and on costs already committed to hotels, airlines, cruises, guides, and other suppliers.
The cancellation schedule shown in your confirmed proposal forms part of your booking agreement and takes priority where it contains more specific terms.
Transport schedules can change for operational, weather, or security reasons. If a service booked through us is delayed or cancelled, contact our team before making replacement arrangements so we can coordinate with the supplier.
Travellers remain responsible for arriving at the stated meeting point or departure terminal on time unless a delay was directly caused by a transfer operated by Viatour Travel.
Baggage limits are set by each airline, cruise, rail, or transport provider. Travellers should check the allowance shown on their ticket and pay any excess-baggage charge directly unless the itinerary states otherwise.
Keep passports, medication, money, and valuables in your personal care while travelling.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance from the time of booking. Cover should be appropriate for cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation, baggage, delays, and the activities included in your trip.
Viatour Travel is not an insurer, and any claim must be made directly under the terms of your chosen policy.
Travellers must follow local laws, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from guides and suppliers. We may end a service without refund when behaviour threatens safety, seriously disrupts others, or damages property.
The traveller is responsible for loss or damage caused intentionally or through negligent conduct.
Travel may be affected by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public-health events, strikes, government action, civil disturbance, or transport disruption.
When this happens, Viatour Travel will provide reasonable assistance and offer available alternatives, but refunds and additional costs remain subject to the terms of the affected suppliers.
Please report a problem to your guide, supplier, or Viatour Travel contact as soon as it occurs so there is an opportunity to resolve it during the trip. If the issue remains unresolved, send us a written summary with relevant supporting information after your journey.
Questions about these terms can be sent using the contact details published on our website.
